In just a few days the glorious scents of freshly cut grass and bursting blooms will permeate the air once again for the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.

This favourite event will be held at the beautiful heritage-listed Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens over five exciting days from March 20 to 24.

Featuring the best landscape and floral talent from Australia and around the world alongside an extensive array of garden retail products, the Show is a celebration of lifestyle and our great outdoors.

Make it a family day out with free garden-based educational children's activities, interactive demonstrations, a sustainable scarecrow display and more.

The famous Great Hall of Flowers will showcase vibrant displays from leading floral designers and you can buy blooms to bring the floral theme to your home.

The Grow Together Garden highlights our multicultural city with displays from a Cambodian and Indian garden this year.

If walking around and admiring the blooms make you hungry, check out the new Challenger Seafood and Sips sessions in the Carlton Gardens and savour a two-course menu complemented by free flowing bubbles in a 90-minute session.
